My son’s best friend was killed last night :(

My son’s best friend was killed last night. He was murdered, shot. I am not sure what happened, they are not releasing any inform ation ad I cannot find out anything. Apparently, he was shot and the guys got away, his other friend was shot in the hand.

My heart is breaking for his family and all of the friends Brett had who loved him dearly. We watched him grow up, he had been one of my son’s closest friends since they were in 3rd grade. I can’t imagine what my son is going through, he is only 16.

I found out on Facebook, first thing this morning.

I also just saw it on the news. I cannot imagine what it is like to lose your 16 year old son, I am in tears and shock.  My son is with his dad, so I cannot hug him right now. I just want to be near him.
